All your product passports in one place
Your products rarely fall into one group. An e-bike has a battery, tyres and electronics — three passports, one product. They are all here together, with one catalogue and one invoice.
Eight groups, one account
In your prodpas account you create product passports for all eight groups. No separate accounts, no separate subscriptions, no product that you enter twice because it falls into two groups. If your product is listed below, you can start here.
Batteries

One product that falls into two groups is one record with two passport layers. Never enter duplicates.

From catalogue to passport
- The product scan. You provide your catalogue to us — an export from your inventory system is sufficient. We classify each product in its group and show what is missing per product.
- Complete. You fill in what you know yourself. For supply chain data we send one request per supplier — not four separate emails about the same product.
- Publish. The passport goes live at its own address, with a QR code that you place on the product or packaging.
- Maintain. If anything changes, the passport changes with it — and the old version is preserved. That must be: in a recall, the question is always what was there on the day of sale.
When is your product group's turn?
Not all groups at once. Batteries have a fixed date in their own regulation; for the rest, a delegated act determines when it will happen, and that has not yet been established. What is referred to below as "expected" is therefore not a deadline.
| Batteries | 18 February 2027 | fixed date in the regulation |
| Iron and steel | expected around 2028 | awaiting the delegated act |
| Aluminium | expected around 2029 | awaiting the delegated act |
| Textiles and clothing | expected around 2029 | awaiting the delegated act |
| Tyres | expected around 2029 | awaiting the delegated act |
| Furniture | expected around 2030 | awaiting the delegated act |
| Mattresses | expected around 2030 | awaiting the delegated act |
| Electronics and ICT | expected around 2030 | awaiting the delegated act |
